In case you can't tell, the tag on the bow around my belly says, "Do not open until April 2011" :)Pictures courtesy of our wonderful neighbor Lindsay Cloer: Shot By Cloer Photography
It has been almost a month since we last posted on our baby blog! There is no news as far as names go, but we have begun to set up the nursery!! Jimmy has so graciously moved his office into the guest room, and now we are in full baby mode.
Decorating our home for Christmas this year brought on mixed emotions. As I was unpacking, I came across one of my Nana's boxes of decorations and it made me sad to know that this will be our first Christmas without her. However, the Lord heals and comforts, so we know she is spending Christmas with Jesus...what a blessing that is. When Jimmy and I began decorating our tree, we realized this was the last Christmas with just the two of us as next Christmas baby girl Turner will probably be pulling down all of the ornaments we put up...ready or not!
I am officially 5 months pregnant now and growing DAILY! Baby Turner has become active and likes to kick all throughout the day. Jimmy asked me what it felt like to have her kick, and I said, "It's kind of like having a heartbeat in your tummy all the time..." He liked that answer, and I think it's the perfect description.
Since Pooh Bear is our nursery theme, I would like to end with a Pooh quote on each blog, but today, it's an audio clip. If you ever watched Pooh, you are in for a smile :)
