I am ashamed to admit that we just ventured out to the NC zoo for the first time this month!! I know, I know...terrible, right? I can justify by saying that Grace has been to the Riverbanks zoo in SC (which is awesome) and we have been to the GSO Science center and other places where animals reside. Okay, now I feel better. :) We ended up buying a membership for the year because it was so pricey to get in for three people...we figured it would pay for itself even if we venture out there one more time this next year. We had a BLAST! Great memories made and lots of calories burned by walking everywhere!

There was a super creative playground area for kids.
I think the kids loved the seals the most...they were definitely the most active animals we saw.
