October contains 2/5 of our family's birthdays! Jimmy and Wesley had birthdays this month and I LOVE celebrating birthdays! I love gifting, surprising, decorating, planning and celebrating them in general. See previous blog posts about their birthdays! October means other things in our house as well and is just a fun month for us.
Our little lady is 2 months old, say it ain't so!! Is it bad that I forgot her check up statistics?? Poor kid...I'll update this when I get them from the doc...
Head: 80%
Height: 50%
Weight: 10 pounds 7 ounces and around the 40%...I think!

Smiling for daddy...she has begun smiling and it's our FAVORITE!
This is what our mornings look like now :) Hands and hearts are full, but there is definitely a calm before the "storm" of getting ready to get out the door each morning. It usually consists of me nursing Anna Ruth, the kids' "sun light" turns on so they burst into her room, and then they watch me changer her diaper and love on her.
I was walking in the mall with Anna Ruth, running some errands, and was behind these two PRECIOUS elderly people. Most of you know how much I love old people...always have. Anyways, I had to capture this sweet moment. I sent it to Jimmy and said, "Will you mall walk with me when we are 80???"
Anna Ruth LOVES the Moby wrap. Jimmy actually uses it more than I do, but it's effective nonetheless.
"Can I burp her? Can I hold her?" Grace is a good big sister.
Grace had spirit week at school and here are a few of her "dress up" days:
Super hero day
Favorite college team day
Tacky Day
Wesley wanted to wear mis-matching shoes just like sissy. Look at that handsome boy!
While on maternity leave, we would drop Grace off at school and then have some time in between the next drop off at preschool. SO, we went to Starbucks some mornings (I'm not a coffee person but do like their salted caramel mocha frappachino A LOT) to get a treat. Wesley likes the cake pops ;)
Too cute not to share...she's quite the gassy little baby.

I'm so thankful for my friend, Rachel, that brings Grace home from school most days because this is what the backseat looked like on Friday after a crazy day of driving around. I leave work to get the littles from preschool, come home for naps, and then was having to load the van back up and go pick up Grace from school...it was a lot! They were worn out here.
Friendship bread season has begun! I've decided to make triple batches this time around because I'm always close to running out and if I'm going to go through the work of baking every 10 days, I might as well make it worth it! This is a tradition my mom passed down to me :)

Grace and Ellory "oohing an ahhing"
Wesley and Lorelei...this captures their personalities so well, I do believe. Love them!
Kim and I with our middle children!
Grace and Ellory were squealing with delight here!
Two peas in a pod
Just a three year old and his little sister.
Most afternoons looked like this during maternity leave: Anna Ruth on my chest and Harry Potter in my hands!
Playing on the playground before pre-school.
Pampering myself before going back to work.
We took some family pictures at the pumpkin patch this year. Glad to capture one with Timmy!
Wesley traded in his pacis for a toy at Target, just like we did with Grace! He had a hard time falling asleep at nap time but then fell right asleep at bed time. However, he hasn't taken many naps since the pacis went bye bye...hopefully the naps will return! If not, oh well! He still has "rest time" in his room and that will do.
We all got out the door in one piece on my first day back to work without back up! My mom came into town to help the first few days I returned.
Wake forest football games with the Kittners
Sweet Raegan!
Bored with the Panthers this year, but still pounding!
Date night out on the town! My mom let us go on a date night before returning to Columbia. It was LOVELY!
