Let's start with some mommy honesty!
3 kids is way more difficult than 2...why did I think that may not be the case? I mean, it's been a beautifully refining three months but three kids is HARD. I know we signed up for this and it can be difficult to appreciate how much we have to be grateful for between sicknesses, exhaustion, lack of patience, and feuds. Then there is this moment each night when Jimmy and I go to check in on the kids and give "sleeping kisses" to them and those moments refuel my heart after long days...looking at them sleeping is just so precious.
We are grateful for so much support from friends and family and most importantly our Lord and Savior! This advent season is proving to be especially powerful as we read through our Jesse Advent Tree devotions and see the curiosity in our older kids. Having a baby this time of year is so special as it really puts things into perspective...Jesus was baby for heaven's sake! It's easy to think of Jesus as an adult but we often forget how little he once was. Thank you Lord for your providence in our lives and we pray that our children will know Him one day!

Dropping off our shoeboxes! First gifts of Christmas...these are dropped off in November so they can be shipped in time. Grace and Wesley picked children their ages and we went to the store to choose special things to put inside the boxes. Wesley had a hard time understanding a few meltdowns in the store but this was just more evidence of WHY we should put others first and give to others not just during the holidays, but always.
What kid doesn't love a good leaf pile at the park?
Grace was snuggling with Anna Ruth one morning when little lady was having a hard time napping. I kept checking in and noticed Grace fell asleep with her for a little bit. Just precious! Don't you worry people...Anna sleeps on her back...this was tummy time gone right and I just made sure to keep watching.
