We are 11 days into June and I'm just now posting our May update...yep, that's current life. We are wrapping up the end of the school year (mommy has one more week left of work) and it has been one busy year. Busy is a word I use SO much here lately...people will ask, "How's it going?" and I'll often respond, "Good! Busy, but good!" I started thinking and it's like I'm implying "busy" is bad. Busy is actually good for us...most of the time. Busy is normal for us; it's our day to day schedule and life, to be honest. I like having things scheduled and having a plan. When you have children I think busy just enters the "new normal" of your daily vocabulary.
However, we do look forward to summer break where each day isn't so planned out. It will be nice not having to get three little ones + mommy ready and out the door before 8 a.m. It will be SO nice not to have to do the daily drop off and pick up of all the kids (thanks Rachel for dropping Grace off so much this year!!). It will be nice not to have to pack so many lunches each day...the list goes on. We had a blast this school year and enjoyed the craziness, but bring on summer and the more laid back nature it entails!
Jimmy has ONE more month of training and then we are DONE...more on that to come.
We totally cancelled Anna's 9 month check up (no shots at that one) so I don't have up to date stats on her weight and all that but I DO have this:
-she's doing the "more" sign when eating (go figure ;)
-she likes to copy us and clap her hands when we say, "Yay!!"
-she says "mama" consistently and recently started copying us when we say "bye bye" but not as frequently
-she's trying to crawl...we think she'll walk before she crawls because she's pulling up on things and Grace actually was walking with a walker at this age, weirdly enough
-she LOVES watching her siblings..they make her laugh and love her so well
-she sucks on the ends of her bunny lovey to go to sleep...it's really gross but also kind of cute
-she is such a happy and easy going baby
