Uncle David's 40th Birthday!

Uncle David turned 40 on September 22.  Jimmy and I had the pleasure of decorating his yard :)  See my previous blog post for pictures.

 

Lindsay, Jimmy and I worked hard to create a surprise party for David the Saturday after his birthday.  Jimmy took David to a movie and brewery in Greensboro for the afternoon while Lindsay and I frantically decorated and got things ready.  When the boys came home, David thought Jimmy and I were having a fellowship group party, but alas, we were not :)  Needless to say, he was surprised!

These girls are just adorable!  Hailee in particular is like Grace's little mommy :) 

Happy birthday to you!

So funny story.  You see someone bent over behind Lindsay in this picture?  That would be Melinda giving Grace the Heimlich maneuver because she was choking on a piece of candy.  Apparently Hailee was saying that Grace was choking, but everyone was singing happy birthday and could not hear.  Melinda happened to see Grace choking and ran over to help.  God bless you Melinda!!!  And THANK YOU! 

 

We had a SUPER fun time at the party and I think the birthday boy did as well.
