The Turner Times: Wesley's Birthday Parties

Grace had this unnecessarily extravagant first birthday party. It was cute, but it was ridiculous. It was not for Grace, it was more for me. I went overboard and it was fun, but I will not be repeating that escapade :) Poor Wesley, the second child! Grace and i baked his cake and we packed up the car to head to Rock Hill, SC to aunt Cindy and uncle Linton's house for Jimmy and Wesley's joint family birthday party. Sorry Jimmy, but we all know it was Wesley's party :) There were balloons, presents, and cake. There was family, laughing, toasting, and eating. It was wonderfully perfect.

Family Birthday Party

Grace and I made the cake, but aunt Cindy iced it and provided the awesome idea of making a road for the car on top.

When we were in NOLA, uncle Linton and Grace practiced golfing. So we had to bring her golf clubs this time!

Cheers! Grace had mini wine glass with water :) She kept asking to "clink" glasses and say cheers with people.

On Wesley's actual birthday, October 29, we did a few more things just as a family of four:

Birthday breakfast: pancakes! These two can be so sweet together :) Wesley woke up to streamers hanging from his door and balloons all over the floor.
