Anna Ruth's Nursery

Grace and Wesley have been sharing a room for several months now so that we could eventually turn Grace's "old room" that turned into Wesley's "old room" into a nursery for Anna.  Phew.  When we found out we were having a girl, I decided to re-use Wesley's nautical themed nursery bedding and accessories.  With the help of my mom and aunt Cindy the nursery turned out to be quite adorable.  By adding some girly touches and splashes of pink, we have a transformation!

Bought this from a friend, spray painted it white, and laced a ribbon through it.  It can be use for bows, pictures, whatever!

I  HAD to re-use the adorable nautical canvases my aunt painted for Wesley's nursery.  We toyed with the idea of adding pink polka dots or outlining the symbols in pink, but ultimately left them alone.  I added new accessories to the shelf that has been there since Grace's nursery was in this room.  My mom bought a cute pink bedspread and the little area at the end of the bed is used for changing diapers.  I have had a bed in place of a changing table in each of the kid's nurseries.  It's an extra sleeping space should we need it for guests and I have even used it several nights as getting in and out of our queen bed isn't so easy right after having a c-section.

My mom made these adorable pillows and had Anna's name monogrammed onto the gray one.

Cute curtain, lamp (re-used from Wesley's nursery), rocker, and port hole style mirror (to fit the nautical theme, of course!).

I love the wall decal my aunt sent us!
