Wesley is three, everyone. It would be way too difficult for me to fully process this if I weren't sleep deprived :) He is our sweet, compassionate, truck loving boy. He brings so much joy to our home and makes Jimmy and I laugh on a daily basis (mostly without him even knowing it).
At his 3 year old check up:
Vision: 20/30 (normal for his age)
Blood pressure: 78/54 (I assume that's good or they would have told me!)
Weight: 37.5 pounds (90%)
Height: 3 ft. 1 (35% although he was measured standing up for the first time and that percentage can be inaccurate)
We asked Wesley what he wanted to do for his birthday and he said two things: Paw Patrol and Chick Fil A...so we combined the two and had a Paw Patrol party at Chick Fil A. Chick Fil A doesn't technically host birthday parties but I called and asked if I could set things up for a party and was told yes! I got there early to set up outside since it was a GORGEOUS day. I ordered a chicken nugget and fruit tray, brought some pretzels and a cookie cake and there you have it!
We invited a few friends from his pre-school class...didn't do anything big.
I highly recommend The Cookie House at the mall...they do great custom cookie cakes!
Wesley's birthday fell on a Saturday so we had his party on his birthday.

Next year I'd like to start the tradition of donating gifts to some organization. This year we just asked people not to bring gifts to his party. For Grace's birthday we donate to the Children's Home so we'll see what Wesley decides to give to next year!
