Grace was invited to a birthday party at a skating rink (flash back, anyone??). I hadn't realized this but she has NEVER been roller skating...ever. So, she was very cautious about getting started, per her personality, and this video is of her towards the beginning. I kept encouraging her and letting her know that it would get easier by the minute.
Not too much longer and she was improving!
Our kids love Imagine Dragons...can you tell?
Dr. Seuss's birthday is always fun for us because I love to celebrate but also because since I work in kindergarten classrooms on a daily basis, this day is a big celebration of reading!
Daddy daughter dance @ school
Little snapshot of reality in our house.
"Mommy, can I cheese please?"
St. Patrick's Day: chocolate coins, just for fun
Jimmy had the kids on St. Patrick's Day because I went on a quick girls' trip. He dressed them all in green, just for fun!
The heart wall in downtown Charlotte...and some girls from our original fellowship group. The Turner family has joined a new church and these girls are still at our previous church but I was so so glad to get away for an overnight trip with them.
We were spontaenous and just walked around choosing places to shop and eat. This ice cream place was yummy!
People laugh when I talk about how spicy Anna Ruth can be...I'll tell people she tackles the older kids to the ground and here's your proof.
I turned 33 this year and had to do the math to make sure, lol.
Our house has some great climbing trees
"Mome, I love mome, from Wesley". All by himself. Be. Still. My. Heart.
Kindergarten registration...this handsome boy will be a kindergartner soon and I don't think I'm ready for it....
Reading and leaning on Maverick
Spontaneous ice cream trips are the best!
Wesley got the stomach bug the same weekend we were supposed to go down to Columbia...sigh. Poor kid was miserable. Jimmy was out of town this weekend.
Grace ended up getting pink eye the day after Wesley came down with the stomach bug. It was a long weekend but thanks to some help from friends, we survived!
Friends, food, and fellowship on one beautiful Spring afternoon.
