I had to post this picture from Christmas...I got this onesie for Jimmy and can't wait for baby girl to wear it! It says, "My prince finally came and his name is...Daddy"The Turners had a very busy Christmas this year! We traveled to Columbia, SC to visit with Kristen's family for Christmas, and then traveled to Savannah, GA a few days after to visit with Jimmy's family. On Christmas day we received MANY gifts for baby girl Turner like a crib, crib bedding, stuffed Winnie the Pooh characters and cute clothing as well. I gave Jimmy the onesie pictured above. :)
While we were in Columbia, we decided to do part of our baby registry at Buy Buy Baby. This is a new chain created by Bed, Bath and Beyond. There aren't many of the stores, but we got our crib from there and wanted to get some other items from the store as well since it is a really nice store and has quality products. THREE hours later...we finished HALF of our baby registry....ohhhhh boy, or I guess ohhhhh girl hehe!
As you can see in the picture above, I (Kristen) am growing daily! I will be 26 weeks on Sunday and can't believe how fast time is flying by. Jimmy and I think we have narrowed the list of names down to two...but won't share that just yet :) We may pick a name before she is born, or we may just wait to meet her first! The reason the title of this blog post is "Three Peas in a Pod" is because Jimmy's grandpa gave me an especially precious gift. I was given a gold necklace that has a pea pod dangling from it, and inside of that pea pod are three pearls. The third pearl is a baby pearl and it was such a thoughtful, precious gift that I plan on wearing a lot!
Happy New Year from the Turners! We will continue updating everyone on this blog and anxiously await the arrival of our little girl!!

Love the blog. So glad things are going well. Grandaddy is always great with really thoughtful gifts. I am so glad you are a part of this family, and we (the Sears clan) can't wait to meet our precious angel :)
ReplyDeleteI will show your Grandpa this post when we are back there next week. He will be so very thrilled that you love the necklace so...it is exactly what he was hoping for when he got it for you! We were so happy we were able to spend time with you at Christmas...it made everything so much better! We love you two so much and can't wait to meet our new precious granddaughter!
