Jimmy had FinCon (financial conference) in DC this year and even though school had just begun, we decided to take some time off and bring the whole family. It was SUCH a fun trip. We were able to space out things so we could do some touristy things during the day and then during nap time (all the kids napped and mommy got some work done!) Jimmy would scoot off to the conference. We would go out for round two in the evening and then repeat the next day. It was a blast, truly a blast. We want to take more family trips like this! Pictures are from several places in DC including the zoo, space museum, natural history museum, etc.
I feel like this should be a postcard for the conference, lol. We were on our way to the pool and saw this set up.
We were even able to make Anna feel a little extra special with some birthday love at dinner one evening.
