February 2020 Family Update

As you can see by the timestamp in my blog post....it's May.  I don't even remember February...does anyone else?  Grateful for pictures to remind us!  Oh yeah, we adopted a dog towards the end of February.  She's 3 years old, a German Sheppard/Lab mix and her name is Piper:

Check out Jett's Legacy if you're interested in the breed German Sheppard.  They rescue that particular breed and were great to work with.  Piper is soo good with our kids and is finally on good terms with Maverick and Ellie (our other two fur babies who are really 12 years old, now!)

Anna Ruth was sick so we stayed in for Super Bowl Sunday.  *Does anyone else with dogs notice that whenever someone in the house is sick that the dogs gravitate towards that person?  Gosh, it's sweet.

Store bought Super Bowl cookie cake!

Our new favorite go to: random assortment of snacky foods!

The Easterling family came over for dinner!  We didn't know it yet but they would be moving in to our neighborhood soon after this dinner visit!

Double date night with Team Kittner (minus kids, of course)

Delicious!  The Spring House in Winston-Salem...so good!

Matchy hunks

While Anna Ruth may be super frustrating and Grace is in a new "leave me alone" stage...I had to rush to capture this moment to remind that they do love each other; they just don't always show it.

Grace's turn to be sick..I couldn't help taking a picture of her napping during the day.  They are so sweet when they sleep!

Anna Ruth wearing Grace's hand-me-downs...she doesn't care.....YET! ;)

Circa 2015 ( I think)...Grace & Jimmy

My college girlfriends!  We were able to meet up in Charlotte, NC for a quick getaways sans children!  We went from 0 children in 2008 (graduation) to 9 children between the 4 of us in 2020!

Sweet Wesley man received 2 awards at his school for the 2nd quarter (I think).  A PE award and a character award.

Light dusting but we didn't complain!

Snow day visit to Safari Nation with Team Kittner

A little snow day cinnamon rolls (the break and bake kind)
